Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya Is A Renowned Botanical Garden Located Approximately 5.5 Kilometers West Of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Established Formally In 1843, The Garden's Origins Trace Back To 1371 During The Reign Of King Wickramabahu III. It Features Notable Avenues Lined With Various Palm Species, Such As The Royal Palm Avenue And Double Coconut Avenue. A Significant Historical Landmark Within The Garden Is The Cannonball Tree, Planted By King George V And Queen Mary In 1901.
